So its been over a month since ive last given an actual blog post, I have been going through a lot, summer, summer school, exes, financial stability, friends, friend loss, family problems, blah blah its just so much to explain. I thought about just changing to a tumbler since I mostly just like to share pictures and videos, but I also enjoy sharing what is going on with me, so it was hard and I decided to stay, although I don't want to explain what happened and what is happening since the last month of my life.

I have gained a lot of weight, been really out of it, not done the things I wanted to do, dropped out of summer school, etc I decided to today I need to fix this.

So wish me luck, hope I get through this. Don't judge me.

So all weekend frank and i gardened and redid our little porch area. I am pretty sure our landlord doesn't approve of setting stone bricks down and killing his grass or punching holes in windows to put outdoor speakers in haha but whatever we won't be here much longer. Want to love where I live no matter what.

We also cooked out for easter. Made steaks, asparagus, potatoes, hamburgers, hotdogs, sausages.

I know its been a long time since I posted but its finals week and I have been SO SO busy.

Ledger in the door, you can also kind of see our new 46" LCD back there lol we got a few months ago for a little over $300. Killer deal we know!

Stumbling around the internet I found this very interesting website...

Exaholics, A place to get over your ex

This is a website dedicated to a 12 step process of getting over your ex. Giving you the fundamentals and support you need to get through your loss. I found the site to be very interesting and quite humorous at the same time. Everyone has had that experience of never wanting to be in a relationship again or drinking themselves to sleep, losing or gaining extreme amounts of weight and here there is a help group online for someone to go to.

They have conference meetings, toll free numbers and forums.

But mostly what I found interesting was that they have a section to meet new people, for dating or friendships.

I find that my blog has helped me relieve a lot of emotions and that the internet is a place for sharing and downloading but I guess I would place this site in the category of online dating.

What happened to getting out in the real world with the people who care most about you to get you through a rough patch in your life. I know I couldn't have done it without my friends and families, not just talking about exes here.

I just feel like everyone is right our generation is a solid set of online social networking and it is scary to think that this is where our children are going to end up on but younger and more naive because it is all they will know.

Could you have used this website? Is it something I am over-thinking? I mean I understand AA for alcoholics and the need for moral support is breaking up just as harmful to people with drinking addictions? or any addictions at all.

Maybe I am just being insensitive to the subject?

All year long I wear shorts, below freezing, I am in shorts, tights, socks... anything to the point where I do not have to wear jeans. Own two pair haven't worn them in a very long time...

I have always loved thrifting and so lately my thing is buying thrifted and remaking to my own. I have come across MULTIPLE sites dedicated to just this, I on the other hand will just dabble in it here and there when I accomplish something and document it.

So I came across Runwaydreamz browsing around the internet. I of course fell in love. I love tattered high waisted studded dyed cut up funky anything but mostly shorts!!

It really hit me why I have never thought about doing this before, knowing the amount of items I tear and cut up... but that is my next thing.

I made these shorts last summer:

and i love them and get complimented on them a lot, although a lot of safety pins hold them together...

So my goal are tattered frayed and dyed jean shorts. I have a date with my friend carla who probably will do some of her own wednesday and ill take pictures and document not only it but all the amazing stuff I just thrifted which included some unicorn wall decor!

(ill also have my new hair by then too... oh lord)

[my] frank was and is still kind of this awesome skateboarder! Ive seen his videos of when he was younger and he was awesome. His parents came up the other day and brought his frankie hill skateboard from his childhood up and weve decided to teach ledger how to skateboard.

We've read up on it and how to start him and I think we can do it. They say if he will get on it he will learn you just have to keep up with him about it. So of course we will! It wont happen tomorrow but probably a month down the line we will see a lot of progress!

Talk About Body is the debut album from MEN, the new project from LE TIGRE’s JD Samson, cult icon and leader in the LGBT community. MEN is a Brooklyn-based band and art/performance collective, where JD is joined by Ladybug Transistor’s Michael O’Neill and Ginger Brooks Takahashi. Recently signed to IAMSOUND Records, the band have also already completed US tours with both Peaches and Gossip, as well as a recent European/UK run and a headlining West Coast tour. Selling out the physical copies of their debut self-released EP “MEN”, the band will be releasing their debut album “Talk About Body” via IAMSOUND on February 1st, 2011.
MEN focus on the energy of live performance and radical potential of dance music. Their music speaks of issues such as wartime economies, sexual compromise, and the demand for liberties through lyrical content and an inventive, high-energy stage show.

So I of course like every other little girl have dream homes in mind and the way I think I would want to decorate my house when I have one. I have always loved the color white, everything white and tons of chandeliers and bookshelves. I also love the aqua blue color. Its simple and elegant. I have a bad habit of buying all kinds of different antiques, i love thrift shopping, and making my own art, which of course all of it adds up. So I would probably have the little oldl lady vintage home... either or I would just be happy to have a home.

student show

The University of Southern Miss Art Museum puts on an annual student show. They ask allt he students in every area of Fine arts and Graphic Design to submit up to four pieces of artwork in any media they completed in the last year to be judged and go through a selection to be made for the ultimate show.

I submitted four pieces and all four got in. Two graphics pieces and two of my B&W photographs from photography. Although it wasn't that great of an accomplishment to have any of my graphics pieces put in since they did not turn away one thing from the graphics department and believe me, they should have. I feel like some of the work being shown is not worth seeing... makes it not so gratifying to have your pieces next to just anything.

These were my two graphics pieces: a brochure on the Locker Room on campus and a type monologue from the movie Wall Street.

I don't have photographs of my prints I made but I will eventually get some. That I felt was a complete accomplishment. They had about 45- 50 photographs entered for selection and only about half made it in, both the ones I submitted!

I did recently find out that a lot of the 3D sculptures and ceramics were selected to be shown, which of course always excites me. That department will always hold my heart, they are my favorite people and I feel the most welcomed and cared for over there. I also am excited to find out that Torres is making them all start a blog to track the progress on their works! So I follow and get to stalk and see! A few of my favorites include:

my style has always been me. I have always had people comment on how I wear my clothes. I have been given "styles" such as nerdy chic, hippie hipster, refined slutty, etc. really anything that contradicts itself. I mesh a lot of different things together. It really is what I feel most comfortable in.

I do wear a lot of nerd shirts mostly marvel and star wars shirts. I do wear a lot of shorts. I actually only own like 3 pairs of pants and one of them I wear just for work. I own a million tights and leggings. I practically live in shorts/skirts and boots/thigh high socks.

Living in a small town and dressing out of the "uniform" of the sorority girls, the camouflage of the natural missisippias, and then everyone else, you don't find too many people in small town where fashion is something they take pride in.

Don't get me wrong, I don't wake up earlier to get dressed, if anything I usually get up barely a half hour before having to be somewhere to put on whatever I can grab and leave out the door in. Mostly is oversized tank tops, shorts, tights, boots and a leather jacket or cardigan. Scarves and gloves in the winter. I wear a lot of black all the time. Socks are a must. I havent worn flip flops in years outside of my own home.

I love socks and heels. I also just love heels. Although I am 5'7ish/5'8 I wear heels all the time and I usually overtower every girl and a lot of guys. I love love love shoes!

I also own like 30 pairs of sweatpants in which I replace the fact that I don't own pants with. I wear them throughout the year, and in 105degree southern weather I am still rocking my sweats. I always dress them up, which is not uncommon in other places.

This post has no purpose, it just really helps to define who I am, because I can't really be defined. I have always stayed to who I am throughout the years, throughout the different kinds of friends I have or hang out with. I always look a little different and either I get great compliments on my style or I get snide remarks on what I am wearing.

My goal is to take more pictures of what I wear when I go out, or get dressed to move about town. I feel like its a statement I am proud of.

Just like my art and photography.

Life is so funny. I really do think its hilarious sometimes. Running around on facebook i realized a lot. you can tell a lot about life through facebook. its sad. but its the book on anyone and everyone you know. no one holds back on there.

I'm just tired of it all. I am tired of everything. I am healthy and working out again to get back down to 115 lbs. currently I am 126. not my happiest weight but its better than I was a year ago when I was least happiest in my life I was breaking 140lbs. If I could just stop eating cookies I could probably lose the weight faster, but I am one of the healthiest eaters I know. I rarely crave anything bad for me, except cookies and brownies. blarg. None the less I hope to be 115ish by the beginning of May. I am giving myself some major time to do it, just with 15 hours of school and 20 hours of work a week its hard to do things and art.

My art is coming out great. I have recently found out that I am REALLY good at photography. My teacher just loves all of my photos. Constantly telling me how great my photos come out and the composition and the thought process and creativity I put into it. It really has given me some major inspiration to keep taking photos. Look up Rodney Smith he is an amazing film photographer and one day, I would love to be even remotely at the level he is.

I am constantly reminded of other people in my life or people that were in my life and I just don't want to be. Is it so much to be content with life but still want people to not come around or anything. I just prefer not being around any of them. I appreciate them and who they are and what they are doing I am so happy to have met and known them but publicly I prefer not. Maybe that makes me petty?

I am ready to move into a home. A place to call my own. A place for my little man to run around outside and not have to keep him hidden. Although I do love walking him around campus. One day far from here I will have my home. This place is meant for people who are settled into being stuck the rest of there lives. They make the money they need and have no inspiration to do anything else or get out for bigger better things. Vacations are all they have to look forward to. Every other day is a day is a day.

I don't know if I will ever be a "graphic designer" but I know I want to work in the art field, whatever just something that gives me the freedom to do what I want when I want.

Live my gypsy ways forever (until I have children)

Over spring break we had a great time in New Orleans, Ledgers first Mardi Gras and we got some great photos. We played on campus. We went on walks. We all slept in. It was an amazing family fun time. I wish more than anything I could be done with school and move on and be so happy. Spring Break was a little piece of what it will be like... so happy.

I love my family more than anything.

School has been moving at a rapid pace. I have really been so busy with it I haven't had time to motivate myself to do anything for me. Im learning to develop and print photographs. I have made my own resume, business cards, posters, and website. I have worked 20-25 hours a week. I have dedicated all of my spare time to Ledger. I have slept not so much.

Im worn out and tired.

I feel the need to stress how overwhelmed I am about the whole situation. I feel like someone is trying to throw things in my face for no reason. I feel like everyone on this planet is selfish, or at least 95% of us. I realized it when I got a message one night and I just put it away, thinking the better of people, but things haven't changed. She had all reason to message me.

I take things to heart easily and thats a huge downfall on my part... I don't get emotional often but it does happen. Frank tells me I need to be more emotional, I don't show a lot of empathy, I don't let my walls down.

Like everyone else though, when things get to be too much, it happens.

Its happening.

Its depressing to say the least I am letting it.

I cannot wait to get out of this town. A secluded life with the one I care most for and not having to keep a personal relationship with anyone else. I have cut off everyone from back in the day and as the days becomes months and the months become years it will keep happening. It is making my relationship stronger and better and I don't want anything to come between us again.

I was weak. I was reckless. I was stupid. I was trying to hang out with the rich and spoiled. I was foolish to think that is where I should be, money isn't anything. I now have maxed out credit cards and more student loans. Just to stay caught up with the crowd. It was an experience to say the least, but I am going to be paying for it for a long time.

I don't mind being secluded or broke. I have made it work for so long. I don't even mind handouts, sometimes when its for the better its okay.

My mother and father stick to themselves, they don't get involved. They work and they have proved themselves to be amazing people, parents and partners. I strive to be just like them. They both came from nothing, they still really don't have anything. They've been faithful, committed, dedicated just to each other and their children. That is their only motivation.

Its family and work from here on out.

School has started. First day of classes and I overslept and missed two.

Not starting out on the right foot. I'm sure it will be fine though!

My little man Ledger did not want us to leave for school. He was guarding our bookbags and fighting us for them. He was guarding them so we couldnt take them away from him. He guarded them for so long he fell asleep on them. It was the cutest thing...

I am also taking 18 hours of classes: Photoshop, Layout, Graphic Design I, Web Design I, Painting I, and Photography. Which I am hoping I wont have to drop one because they are all pretty intense classes, but if one had to go, it would have to be the one I care for the most... Photography :( It just is the most intense and just is very inconvenient when it comes to my schedule... but I am going to try my hardest.

I am also looking forward to babysitting more, the family I usually babysit for has given my number out to another family which would help me out so much more when it comes to money and school. I love the children to, they are more than entertaining! I am currently in the hole with everything, paying for Ledger really hurt me, but I am sacrificing.

Also Raising Arizona is on and of course it is one of my favorites!! Its hilarious!

I have a lot to consider.

I've been watching a ton of movies on my new netflix account which I of course am addicted to. You know me and indie and foreign movies... Addicted.

Easy A. I thought was really good. I love emma stone shes gorgeous and who doesn't think a modern day scarlet letter isn't worth seeing. Mostly because they make fun of the Demi Moore one throughout and if you haven't seen that one i would say see it just to say you saw it. I really sympathized with her character of course not now but in middle school/hs when kids were all about rumors and talking trash. That and the guy who played Todd was such a sweetheart I of course fell in live with him. And they played one of my favorite songs in the car... Its on the soundtrack. I forget what other songs were on it too. But it was a great movie. Worth renting/downloading/recording/tivo/ etc. So many ways to get things now.

Greenberg. Was really dry smart comedy. Not for your typical person. I thought it was great. This awkward love affair and the stages they went through just finding themselves and in the end each other. It may sound like your typical romance story but it's so much better. It's a high recommend when it comes to "smart" films. I haven't been a fan of ben stiller ESP with these 3,4,5 however many more focker movies now. I feel like horror movies should be the only genre of film that can go past a third sequel. Mostly because however bad it is, it is still sooo good. I would say buy this one it's worth having it in your movie collection!

So my boss is 45 min late to work this morning and just arrived. I'll have to come back to the movies later!!

Subjectivity in the DSM

I dont have the psychology background to support my thought process, but I have seen many people close to me with different types of emotional disorders, dealing with homosexuality, hypochondriacs, etc.

Subjective interpretation is a huge part of our society now, if you realize it or not. Everyone has beliefs in something and anything. Being raised in a family where we toughed it out when we were sick or hurt, there is rarely a time I remember medicines being used in my family as children, other than vitamins or if it was serious. Having a family history with different strands of psychiatric disorders, minor to major and genealogy homosexuality there are many things I have been able to see and examine on my own from personal experience.

Her question on how much does subjectivity actually factor in, answers itself.

I have so many opinions on emotional disorders, homosexuality, hypochondriacs, etc. Anything having to deal with certain conditions, a lot of which I feel is genealogy. In my opinion I feel like it is something that is passed down and it all depends on how you are brought up in which it will affect you, if you hide it or not, its there.

Its interesting to think that religion is the same way, same belief style as medicines. If you believe it will work or has some favorable outcome, then in the belief, it will benefit you.

Been sick this weekend. Did nothing but work, make it worse and sleep.

I guess me being sick has made me sick of people. Some people are making me crazy. I am starting to realize there aren't many people in the world worth it. Ive been let down by my sister. My friends have gone off on there own. Ive come to realize my passion to want to hang out with certain people has taken a turn for a loss. I have realized so much since getting back together with Frank. I am so happy to be with him. I have nothing left to give to people who don't care. Which is so funny to say because I used to be the one ignoring people. I guess karma has taken a toll on me. I have tried to make it up. I really have done what I could...

But in the end I can't keep taking ALL the initiative anymore.

The only person I seriously want to apologize to right now is my lovely friend Courtney who has recently become a mother to a healthy baby boy Callum, which I plan on going to see as SOOON as this throat is better!! She has been been through a lot and deserves everything that has been given to her in the last year. Her new family is precious and I have never been so happy for someone. I hope my future is somewhat as spectacular as hers. I cannot wait to meet my little one.

Don't confuse his amazing personality with the thought that he wants to talk to you. You have literally disgusted me. Your lack of character and your woe is me stage has worn me out. Not only me, but everyone. No one cares you got broken up with. It seems like you deserved it. The fact that you told other people my business, I got calls from TWO different states because of your mouth. Are you that juvenile to want to make yourself look better that you go behind my back to people I consider friends and talk smack. Makes you look even worse.

So really, Yes I have lost all respect for you. There are a million guys out there and the fact that you were using mine to get over your ex is laughable, your pathetic attempt to get back at your ex with mine just made you look like an idiot. For some reason...

I can't let things go lately. I don't know whats going on with me but I am filled with a lot of hate lately. Literally dreaming of beating people up, or killing them, or some form of violence. I keep myself up at night because of some other issues with different people. Its like all of sudden a handful amount of the closest people to me just really got to me because of the actions taken. I have always been able to let things go and recently I think because it is SOOO much I cant.

So what do I do?

I have a friend who hurt me by going behind my back and trying to play both me and my boyfriend against each other, she has apologized and I have accepted it, but it hurts me so much to think someone who has just such a low judge of character and morals to try and do that and then still act like my friend. It has really eaten me alive, question is... Why would I want to be friends with someone who is that deceitful to do that? and then on top of that play the pity, woe is me card.

I have a friend who literally just put me to the side, ignored me because of my views and choice. She has such strong opinions and views dealing with religion and everything "right" and although I don't believe in those things... I have never judged her for anything. I literally was there for her years ago when she was completely against me and practically shit on me. I just never thought in a million years something as a preference in what I believe in would make her do it to me again, just toss me to the side as if I was nothing. question is... should I keep making the effort to stay friends with someone who so easily can toss our friendship out the window? Not that I think she would completely, but what makes it okay to drop me for an amount of time and just pick me right back up??!

My sister is going through a lot right now, too much to get into and its just hurting me so much that someone ive always been so close to is acting in the way she is. It makes me so angry that I just dont know how to talk to her right now. Everything she has done offends me and upsets not only me but I am nothing in this but more so my parents. People who have none stop given her everything. Who is she to think she has the right to ignore them? She owes her whole life to them. I am just so infuriated in this whole thing.
